Strengthening their “Creating a Better Life” theme, LG Electronics Malaysia, a brand well-known to touch people’s lives with its modern and diverse products have expanded their brand shop experience in Batu Pahat.
Housing a variety of home entertainment and appliances from their signature range OLED TVs, UHD, HD and LED TVs, soundbar, refrigerator, signature washers and the recently launched DUALCOOL air conditioner, LG’s first brand shop in Batu Pahat (and sixth in Johor) serves to bring enhanced consumer experience. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Kim Kyutae, LG Electronics Malaysia Managing Director.
Speaking at the ceremony, Kim Kyutae said, “Today’s store opening is a solidified proof of our commitment to deliver a holistic and positive experience to our consumers when using LG products. [Here] at LG, we constantly seek out new methods to introduce innovative and sophisticated products that complement our consumer’s lifestyle and the way they go about their daily lives.”
The essence of creating a better life derives from products such as LG’s award-winning OLED TV that gives viewers greater entertainment value within the comfort of their homes via its AI function and α9 processor, while its home appliances segment such as the ‘knock-knock’ mechanism on the LG Smart InstaView refrigerator enabling one to check on the items stored inside without opening the refrigerator door and hence reduces cold air loss and preserves the longevity of the freshness produce within.

Just recently, LG Electronics announced their preliminary third-quarter financial results. LG reported tentative consolidated revenues for the third quarter of 2018 at KRW 15.4 trillion – the highest third-quarter revenues in the company’s history – and an operating profit of KRW 745.5 billion. Sales are expected to be 1.3 percent higher than the same quarter the previous year with operating profit up 44.4 percent year-on-year.₁
