LG X130
Around the world, consumers have realized that bigger isn’t necessarily better. Computing trends have changed in recent years and consumers are increasingly turning towards low-power portables and desktops that take up minimal space while maximizing convenience.
While early models were plagued with short battery life, the latest crop of mini notebooks pack enough power to last 12 hours, to offer convenient all-day power.
LG’s X130 features 9-cell battery, and can play back full screen video for more than seven hours. It’s designed for portability and sports rounded edges to make it easy to slide in and out of bags, and chrome-plated hinges for added durability. It also features LG’s SmartOn interface, which enables web access, audio playback, and live chat within 7 seconds without booting Windows.

Miniaturization isn’t limited to notebooks. LG has also seen a surge in demand for stylish but small mini desktops that are designed to blend seamlessly with any room. These small PCs can be connected to TVs so that users can enjoy games, photos, video and even streaming content.
LG’s X30 is features an extremely small footprint and relies on a low-power ATOM processor to significantly reduce heat and noise compared to a conventional desktop. It also boasts NVIDIA ION graphics, which provides adequate graphics performance for light gaming.
Mini Beam
LG has also worked hard to shrink projector technology to enable business customers to take presentations on the road. LG’s Mini Beam (HS200G) tips the scales at a scant 800g and measures a mere 18.3cm by 12.2cm. The LED lamp offers a life of 30,000 hours and runs cooler than conventional lamp technologies, which helps keep operating noise down to only 23dB. The Mini Beam includes a USB port and can play movies, slideshows or presentations directly from a USB memory key for the ultimate in portable convenience!
