Interview on Refrigerator Ettiquette with LG on the Bella talk show, NTV7
An interesting segment on ‘Refrigerator Etiquette – keeping your fridge organised, clean and efficient’ was recently featured on the Bella talk show by NTV7. The host interviewed Shashidaran A/L K.Krishnan, Product Manager of LG Home Appliances, who shared many useful tips on refrigerator dos and don’ts such as where the coldest part of the fridge was, and how often a user should clean out their fridge.

Various cutting-edge product features on the LG refrigerator were introduced during the show, such as the Air Tight Crisper, which keeps vegetables fresher longer, and the built-in filtration system that eliminates 99.99% of bacteria in the fridge.

LG Asia Family Festival 2013 featured on Bella talk show, NTV7

A feature on the LG Asia Family Festival 2013 by the Bella talk show was aired on NTV7 recently. Members of the media were invited to the festival, held in Seoul, South Korea, which showcased LG’s latest smart home appliances and cutting-edge technology – all designed to make life easier and more convenient.

On 17 April 2013, LGEML showcased their latest range of Smart home appliances which offer energy efficiency, enhanced convenience and improved consumer health benefits to selected media at the PJ Hilton hotel.

Key highlights of the event included the new large capacity side-by-side refrigerator with four doors along with other new refrigerators, front-loader and top-loader washing machines, HOM-BOT SQUARE vacuum cleaners, LightwaveTM ovens and dishwashers.

During the product tour, Shashidaran A/L K.Krishnan – Manager of Home Appliances (HA) Product Management, together with LG home appliance representatives from Korea, Jay Jeong and Ken Kim, walked the media through the product features and benefits, and their Core Technologies. Overall, the event went well with lively response from the media during the Q&A session.

LG Direct Drive Motor receives certification from the VDE

 

The core technology of LG washing machines has achieved a new mark of excellence in quality standards.

LG’s top and front loading washing machines are equipped with the Inverter Direct Drive – a motor which controls the actions of its tub and washing motions. Recently, LG’s direct drive motor was tested and certified by the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE) to have a life-cycle of 20 years (equivalent to 4,400 wash cycles).

The VDE is one of the largest technical and scientific associations in Europe with over 35,000 members. This certification of international standards confirms the reliability and durability of LG’s washing machines, and serves to provide customers with greater peace of mind.

The 2013 LG Innovative Festival (Innofest), held in Cancun, Mexico from April 4 to 6, provided an opportunity for LG’s business partners and other stakeholders from across South and Central America to see and experience a range of impressive products designed to deliver savings, convenience, performance and better health. With approximately 300 participants, the event highlighted LG’s efforts to strengthen its global position and become the number one home appliance brand by 2015.

Major products featured in the lineup included LG’s Door-in-Door refrigerator, 6 Motion Direct Drive washing machine, Charcoal Lighting Heater oven and HOM-BOT SQUARE robotic vacuum cleaner.
